Governor Patrick Morrisey proclaimed March 2–6, 2026, as the first-ever “Teen Mental Health Awareness Week” in West Virginia, coinciding with World Teen Mental Wellness Day on March 2nd. Also, March 30th is World Bipolar Awareness Day. As such, our brochure of the month for March is “Bipolar Disorder in Children and Teens”. Stop by our office in the Mountaineer Mall to get your free copy, as well as brochures on many other topics dealing with mood disorders.

A stack of brochures beside a sign saying "Brochure of the Month: March. Bipolar Disorder involves extreme intense mood shifts between high-energy manic highs (extreme happiness/irritability) and low-energy depressive lows. These episodes differ from typical childhood moods, often causing severe dysfunction in school and relationships. World Bipolar Awareness Day is March 30."
